Graduate Engineering Geologist

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000

Location: Winchester

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join a team of multidisciplinary consulting engineers in the Winchester area. The specialist team have over 50 years of experience in the industry and the scope to provide you with excellent training on engaging projects - providing the perfect first step into your Engineering Geology career.

The Graduate Engineering Geologist selected will be:

• Assisting with site walkovers.
• Carrying out site investigations.
• Soil and rock logging.
• Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
• Writing factual and interpretive reports.
• Work on in situ testing.

The Graduate Engineering Geologist position therefore requires applicants to have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).

Applicants must be keen to learn and develop skills and have an ability show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. You must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Winchester and have a full right to work in the UK.
