Day Porter (Residential)

Our client is a prestigious private residential development in West London. A permanent vacancy has arisen following the retirement of a long-serving team member, and they are seeking an exceptional Day Porter of the same calibre to join their front-of-house team.

20 weekday shifts + 1 weekend per 35 days
Weekday shifts: 7am5pm or 9am7pm
Weekend shifts: 7am to 7pm
£35,850 per annum
Role to start in July 2026

The successful candidate will be the professional face of the building - manning the reception desk, managing deliveries, overseeing building security and CCTV, conducting patrols, and providing a warm, helpful service to residents at all times. On weekdays the role is part of a small team of porters; at weekends and when covering nights, the postholder works as a lone worker on site.
Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents and visitors, logging parcels and registered mail, monitoring access and security, reporting maintenance issues, managing contractor sign-in, and participating in structured shift handovers. xwzovoh The role also requires active involvement in health and safety procedures including fire alarm response.
