CNC Setter Operator

CNC Setter Operator Base salary: £38,000 - 40,000 Shift Allowance  Shift allowance: 16.6% – Monday to Friday – Earlies and Lates Alternate 2 week shift pattern 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm Location: Birmingham We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a fast-paced precision engineering environment. You’ll set and run CNC machines to produce high-quality components to strict tolerances. CNC Setter/ Operator Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC machines efficiently The CNC Setter/ Operator will read engineering drawings and edit programs where required Inspect parts using measuring equipment (CMM, micrometres, verniers) Monitor machine performance and report faults Support continuous improvement and quality standardsCNC Setter/ Operator Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and CNC setting/operating experience – Any programming knowledge ideal Knowledge of multi-axis or 5-axis machining – Mazak & Matsuura Preferred The CNC Machinist - Setter/ Operator will need to have controls experience with FANUC or Mazatrol (preferred) Strong understanding of engineering drawings Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards  High Variety Low Volume experience preferred INDMAN
