The Role
As Engineering Manager, you will organise, lead, coordinate, and direct a multi-disciplinary design engineering team responsible for delivering engineering work packages including specifications, analysis, verification, and assessment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing safety cases, supply chain activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards. You will oversee the planning and execution of projects, manage technical risks, and ensure adherence to safety and design standards.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven experience in nuclear glovebox design, commissioning, or operations, with a strong technical background in nuclear engineering
Extensive experience working within regulated, quality-assured systems, especially in nuclear or defence environments
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Fellow (FEng) status, with relevant professional membership preferred
Expert knowledge of engineering design, governance reviews, and technical assurance processes
