Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Remote with site visits in the Midlands
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Commission

The role
This is a home-based, field-focused role covering the Midlands region. You’ll drive sales of technical solutions, build long-term relationships, and manage the full commercial cycle, supported by a highly skilled in-house technical team.
Key responsibilities
• Manage and grow customer accounts across the Midlands
• Build a specified pipeline with M&E consultants and contractors
• Identify and develop strategic distribution opportunities
• Deliver in-person product demos, CPDs and lunch & learns
• Identify sector opportunities across commercial, education, healthcare and modular build
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to order
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
• Maintain accurate activity and forecasts on the CRM/EMS
• Achieve agreed sales targets through strong teamwork
About you
• Proven sales experience within a technical or construction-related environment
• Confident engaging with consultants, contractors and end users
• Commercially aware, target-driven and customer-focused
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• IT literate and confident using digital and social platforms
• Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional out-of-hours client visits
