Job Title: Lead Early Years Teacher
Location: Chelmsford area
Salary: Up to £32,800 per annum (dependent on experience) + £500 Welcome Bonus
Hours: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Early Years Educator to join a well-established and nurturing nursery setting in the Chelmsford area.
This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years professional looking to take on a leadership position within the room, delivering high-quality education and care while supporting the wider team to maintain outstanding standards.
As a Lead Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
* Lead by example, role modelling outstanding practice within the team
* Support the implementation of a child-centred curriculum
* Identify and maximise learning opportunities throughout daily routines
* Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment
* Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and wellbeing
Requirements
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working across all Early Years age groups
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for child development and care
