We’re currently recruiting motivated and adaptable individuals to join us as Unqualified Teaching Assistants, supporting a range of schools across the Thetford and Bury St. Edmunds area. This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and make progress in their learning.

The Role
You’ll work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils with a variety of academic, social, and behavioural needs. No two days will be the same, but your support will make a meaningful difference every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils during lessons to help them stay focused and engaged
Assisting with literacy and numeracy tasks
Encouraging positive behaviour through clear guidance and consistency
Helping to create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with teachers and staff to support pupil progress
This is a practical, people-focused role where you’ll directly contribute to pupils’ development and success.

You don’t need formal qualifications — we value attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn above all else.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Calm, dependable, and resilient
Positive role models with a confident and approachable manner
Flexible and open to working across different school settings
Strong communicators who work well within a team
Experience in education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care is beneficial, but not essential.

Essential Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as you may need to travel between schools at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
