The Opportunity

This role blends technical leadership and hands-on development.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Defining and embedding architectural standards
• Leading key Visualfiles development projects
• Acting as a technical authority within the team
• Supporting and guiding junior developers
• Working closely with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and maintain architecture and development standards for Visualfiles
• Lead delivery of complex development projects
• Break down requirements into clear technical deliverables
• Provide accurate effort estimates and technical input into planning
• Assess commercial viability and ROI of development work
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the best technical approach
• Promote best practice and ensure consistent development standards
• Act as a mentor and escalation point for the wider team

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Strong experience with Visualfiles development and solution design
• Proven ability to operate at a technical lead or architect level
• Background in legal or professional services environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Desirable:

• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform or low-code tools
• Experience working within ITIL / service management environments
• Deep understanding of the Visualfiles ecosystem
• Ideally a recognised architecture qualification (e.g. TOGAF)
