Registered Manager - Newly Opened Children's Home Location: Berwick upon Tweed (North East England) Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum + up to £6,000 Performance-Related Pay Contract: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role Are you a compassionate, values-driven leader ready to shape a brand-new service from the ground up? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Registered Manager to establish the culture, team, and standards of a newly opened children's home in Berwick upon Tweed. Backed by an established, award-winning care group with over a decade of experience delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care, you will lead the home in accordance with Ofsted requirements, the Quality Standards, and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Key Responsibilities Register with Ofsted and maintain regulatory compliance across all Quality Standards. Lead, inspire, and develop a team committed to therapeutic, child-centred care. Oversee day-to-day operations, including rotas, budgets, and inter-agency partnerships. Ensure children's voices actively guide care planning and support their life outcomes. What We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum 2 years in a management or deputy management role in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting. Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or equivalent.
