At Brentfield School, we are proud to work in close partnership with our community to improve the life chances of every child. We are now seeking a passionate and highly experienced leader to join our team in September 2026.
We are looking for an Assistant Head to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Deputy Head be responsible to leading EYFS and KS1. You will lead and promote Maths, Science and Computing, including AI across the school. This is a non-classed based position however the successful candidate will have a teaching commitment as part of the role.

We Are Looking For An Assistant Head Who:
- Can improve standards and practice through modelling excellence in teaching and learning.
- Can provide support for staff in improving their classroom practice and improving outcomes for all children
- Develop teachers through support and effective and efficient feedback
- Is a role model for the whole school community, setting high professional standards and supporting the vision, ethos and culture of the school
- Promotes equal opportunities and challenge all forms of prejudice
- Develops and sustains effective partnerships with parents / carers
- Is fully committed to safeguarding
