About the role We have an opportunity for a Concierge Officerto join our team at the Foyer in Sheffield on a 6-month fixed term contract, working on a Thursday and Friday 7 hours per day .
The Sheffield Foyer provides accommodation, training and support to help a diverse client group of young people who have been affected by homelessness.,.
As a Concierge Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of the building, while providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house service to residents, visitors, and external partners.
What we are looking for We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do.
You will not only be an experienced Concierge Officer, but you will also have excellent customer service skills and a willingness to support vulnerable young people in a professional and compassionate manner.
You will be able to demonstrate: A sensitive and supportive approach to vulnerable people always maintaining their dignity and self-respect.
Previous concierge experience/experience of working in a similar role.
Knowledge of CCTV operation.
Computer literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Good written and oral communication.
Able to meet deadlines and complete projects .
Experience of working with people aged 16-25 years .
