DT & Art – Derby, DE1 Location: Derby, DE1 Contract Type: Full time/Temp to perm Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £130–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK secondary school Overview: Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated DT/Art Teacher for a full-time position starting asap! This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled DT/Art educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially KS5. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver the KS3 & KS4 DT/Art curriculum * Plan, prepare, and assess DT/Art lessons in line with department policy * Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions * Contribute to department improvement planning DT/Art * Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required The Ideal Candidate: * Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching DT or Art experience in a UK secondary setting * Is passionate about education and student achievement * Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills * Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life Why apply through Education Personnel?
