The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to cover the South West region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading national bodyshop organisation in a highly varied and mobile role, supporting multiple sites across the region.
This position has become available due to internal promotion and offers excellent long-term stability, variety, and career progression.
The Role
As a Roaming VDA, you will:
Work across multiple sites within the South West region
Support workshops during peak periods, holidays, training, and operational cover
Produce accurate vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates
Identify correct repair methods in line with manufacturer and Thatcham standards
Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisation
Communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and customers
Maintain accurate electronic and manual records of estimates
Ensure compliance with BSI safety standards and insurer requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a proven Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Estimator
Have experience using Audatex
Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
Hold xwzovoh ATA or IMI accreditation (essential)
Have a strong background within a bodyshop environment
Hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence
Be confident working independently across multiple sites
