About the role
We are looking for a Part Time Waking Night Support Worker to join our supportive team in Muscliff, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, calm and reassuring environment throughout the night.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, ideally with experience supporting people with autism or complex needs.
The role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for remaining alert and attentive throughout the night to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the people we support.
Your role will include administering medication where required, completing accurate documentation at regular intervals throughout the shift and following individual support plans to provide person-centred care.
You will be expected to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in behaviour, adapting your approach to ensure each person feels comfortable, happy and supported. The role may also involve providing elements of personal care, including personal hygiene prompts, supporting individuals with bathing and washing, and assisting with medication as required.
Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.
Hours of work: 20 hours per week - 10pm – 8am
Week 1 - Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2 – Thursday
