The basics:
Job Title: Quality Engineer - Aerospace/Power & Energy
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: near Redditch
Pay: £50,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week
Holidays/Benefits: Bonus scheme, salary sacrifice pension, Life assurance, sick pay, 25 days holiday + bank holidays,
Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Quality Engineer to join the team. You will be working closely with the Manufacturing Manager tailored towards NPI and Aerospace. As part of the quality team you will have a focus around new products coming into the business, doing the FAIRS, reviewing the documents, and owning the part through production and the full cycle from concept to completed manufacture.
The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Previous experience working with any of the following processes - EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses.
Previously worked in a quality focused role within a tight tolerance engineering environment
Commutable from:
Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
