Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant in the FMCG sector based in Bristol, you'll play a key role in managing financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role supports the accounting team by handling transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the business. Client Details This opportunity is with a company operating in the FMCG sector, based in Bristol. Description Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed. Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining records. Support month-end and year-end financial processes. Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers. Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve payment queries. Provide general administrative support to the accounting team. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the FMCG industry. Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. An understanding of financial processes and procedures. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £27,000 per year, dependent on the level of experience.
