EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Location:Ilford, East LondonSalary: £1,900 - £2,300 per monthStart Date: Immediate / SeptemberContract: Full-time

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ilford is seeking a qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join their Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing Nursery / Reception setting, supporting children in their early development, learning, and social skills. You will play a key role in helping pupils build strong foundations in communication, phonics, numeracy, and emotional development.

The school is known for its supportive leadership, strong Early Years provision, and collaborative staff culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support learning within EYFS (Nursery/Reception)
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Support early phonics, reading, and numeracy
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional development
• Assist with classroom routines and activities
• Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team

Requirements

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or equivalent
• Experience working within EYFS settings
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework

Desirable:

• Experience in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and behaviour support skills
