No.1 Site Manager – Cheltenham (£750k Fit‑Out) Location: Cheltenham Project: Two‑Floor Commercial Fit‑Out Project Value: £750,000 Position: No.1 Site Manager Start Date: Immediate 🔨 The Role My client is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑quality 2‑floor commercial fit‑out project valued at £750k in Cheltenham. This is a standalone leadership position responsible for the full coordination and management of the site, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. Candidates must be confident, organised, and capable of running a busy fit‑out project from start to completion. 🧱 Key Responsibilities * Day‑to‑day leadership and management of the project as the sole Site Manager * Overseeing all subcontractors and ensuring works meet specification, quality, and programme * Managing site health & safety, inductions, RAMS, and compliance documentation * Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting * Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams * Maintaining excellent site presentation and organisation * Driving the project to successful completion within time and budget 👷 Candidate Requirements * Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on commercial fit‑out projects (£500k–£2m) * Strong understanding of fit‑out packages, sequencing, and contractor coordination * Confident communicator with strong leadership and problem‑solving skills * Ability to keep a tight programme on track * Must hold a valid DBS and/or meet the requirements for BPSS clearance 📜 Essential Certifications * SMSTS * CSCS (Black/Gold preferred) * First Aid * Asbestos Awareness (advantageous) 💼 What’s on Offer * Competitive day rate * Strong support from the wider project team * Opportunity to lead a well‑structured, high‑value commercial fit‑out * Potential for ongoing work based on performance
