Trainee Field Sales Executive – Relationship‑Led Role | Full Training Provided

This role is ideal for someone who naturally builds trust, connects with people, and enjoys nurturing long‑term relationships.
You’ll be joining a supportive Network Sales Team, working with local businesses to understand their needs, guide them through solutions, and ensure they feel confident and looked after from day one. This is an entry‑level opportunity, with full training provided. What matters most is how you communicate, listen, and follow through.
The role: At its heart, this role is about people and relationships.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building relationships with SME customers within your local area
- Having meaningful conversations to understand how their business operates and what they need
- Developing a personal pipeline of customers and managing it with care and consistency
- Onboarding new clients and guiding them through their first weeks to ensure they feel supported
- Acting as a trusted point of contact during the early stages of the relationship
- Working closely with internal teams to make sure promises are delivered and expectations are met
While there are targets, success comes from quality conversations, trust, and reliability, not aggressive selling.

- In possession of a full UK driving licence, as the role is area‑based

Training and development You’ll receive structured training covering:
- How to build and manage professional client relationships
- Sales fundamentals delivered in a supportive, practical way
- Products, services, and the SME landscape
- Customer onboarding and long‑term account care
Over time, this role can naturally progress into Account Management, Client Development, or Senior Sales positions.
Salary and location
- Salary band: £28k–£34k with uncapped commission (20k OTE)
- Location: Various / area‑based across the West Midlands and Staffordshire
- Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager
