Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Location: Gloucestershire  Salary: £42,000 - £45.000 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Eligibility: UK Nationals Only We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality assurance, continuous improvement, and compliance activities within a precision engineering manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Create quality documentation including FAIRs, Quality Plans, and ITPs. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Lead non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions. Conduct internal and supplier audits. Work closely with Operations, Customers, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues. Drive quality improvements, reduce scrap, and improve process performance. Skills & Experience Proven Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of RCA, CAPA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and AS9102 FAIR requirements. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Good understanding of CNC and conventional machining processes. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. CMM programming experience desirable. Qualifications HNC in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering. External Auditor Training. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
