Day-to-Day of the Role

As a supply teacher with Reed Education, you’ll be expected to:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum expectations
• Support pupils academically and emotionally during your time in the classroom
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom needs
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Uphold school policies and contribute to a smooth-running day
• Leave clear handover notes for the returning teacher

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in UK schools
• DBS on update service (or the willingness to apply for one through Reed £49.50)
• Confidence in managing different classroom settings and age groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
