Service & PDI Technicians – Groundcare Machinery

Service Engineer & PDI Technician  We are recruiting a Service Engineer & PDI Technician to join a well-established groundcare machinery business based near Watford. This is a great opportunity to join a growing service team supporting high-end golf and sports venues. Key Responsibilities Service and maintain groundcare equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, ATVs, and handheld tools Carry out pre-delivery inspections and assembly of new machinery Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Use diagnostic software (training provided) Complete detailed job reports, including photos and time tracking Identify additional service opportunities where appropriateAbout You Background in groundcare, agricultural, construction, or vehicle engineering Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Hands-on, flexible, and reliable approach IT literate Full UK driving licence requiredPackage £32,000 – £40,000 OTE (depending on experience) 24 days holiday + bank holidays Pension  + life assurance Company van Ongoing training and developmentHours Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm (39 hours) Overtime available (enhanced rates) Some weekend work required during peak periods
