Mechanical Estimator Location: Brighton Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 basic An established contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team, supporting the delivery of technically complex projects within a secure and highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Preparation of detailed mechanical estimates across a range of projects Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations Producing accurate cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions Supporting pre-construction and commercial teams through bid stages Ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and security requirements About You Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or M&E contracting Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods Confident working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software Detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness Able to work within confidential and secure project environments Competitive salary dependent on experience Company vehicle Performance-related bonusSecure, long-term workload Opportunity to work on prestigious, technically challenging projects Supportive and professional working environment Discretion & Confidentiality Please feel free to apply directly via this advert.
