We're looking for an experienced Yard Shunter to join a well-established logistics operation in Desborough. This is a consistent Monday–Friday role with long-term stability, and the site is actively looking to take suitable drivers on permanently .
Key Responsibilities Safely shunting trailers around the yard using Terberg shunters
Positioning trailers onto bays and parking areas as directed
Working closely with transport and warehouse teams to maintain smooth yard flow
Completing simple walk-around checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining high safety standards at all times
Requirements Proven Yard Shunting experience
Experience using Terberg / yard tractors
A valid C+E (Class xwzovoh 1) licence
Good communication and awareness within a busy yard environment
Reliability and a strong work ethic
