Quantity Surveyor - Hybrid Working | County Antrim An established and progressive Design & Build contractor based in County Antrim is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. Offering hybrid working (up to 2 days per week from home), this is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects while developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for 1-2 projects at a time, gaining exposure to both pre-construction and project delivery stages. Key responsibilities will include: Managing project costs across a variety of new-build developments and structures Undertaking cost planning, forecasting, and cost analysis Advising on procurement and commercial strategies Participating in design team meetings and providing buildability input Supporting feasibility studies and helping define client requirements Identifying and managing project risks while delivering value-engineering solutions Monitoring project budgets and implementing effective cost-control measures Providing commercial and contractual advice, including the assessment of claims About You The successful candidate will have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a main contractor or Design & Build contractor Experience working on construction projects valued in excess of £2 million Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What's on Offer?
