Siamo Recruitment are working with an established wood distributor based in Cirencester. They’re seeking a talented individual to join their dedicated team as a Labourer to be trained up as a Production Operative. As a Labourer you will work collaboratively to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and exceeds customer satisfaction. Training will be provided, however experience within a production team is advantageous or from a hands-on background. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the production and distribution industry. This is an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a team that cares about their product and become a specialist within the role.   MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE DUE TO RURAL LOCATION   Pay: £600+ P/W   A brief overview of the role: Location – Outskirts of Swindon Monday – Friday (Days) Free onsite parking Pension WEEKLY pay Lunch facilities PPE Provided initially   Your role as a Labourer will involve the following duties: Quality checking all goods throughout and post manufacture Loading raw materials into the production process and potentially lifting/stacking finished pallets. Running safety checks on machinery Machine operating safety and efficiently Preparing products for dispatch -and loading pallets for delivery Liaising with supervisors with any issues.  Adhering to all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Supporting team members regularly General yard duties.  The ideal candidate for the Labourer Position will have: Production operative experience is advantageous Labouring experience is essential (CSCS isn’t necessary) Previous experience working shift patterns is advantageous Quality control experience is essential Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Good attentiveness and a keen eye for detail Full UK Driving License and own transport Physically able to lift up to 20kg regularly    Likeminded Job Titles:  Sawmill Technician, Timber Operative, Timber Production Operative, Timber Processing Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative   Commutable from: Wroughton, Cricklade, Highworth, Purton, Marlborough, Stratton, Cirencester
