SEMH Teacher - Long Term - September

SEMH Teacher (Long-Term Placement) Start Date: September (Trial period this half term) Pay: Depending on experience, but between £185 - £230 per day! We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Teacher with experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health for a long-term placement beginning in September. There will be an opportunity to undertake a trial period during the current half term. Key Requirements: Proven, substantial experience within a school setting Ideally a minimum of 3 years at the same school, demonstrating stability and commitment Strong understanding of the Primary and Secondary National Curriculum as the students will be aged 7-16 Confident in managing complex and challenging behaviour Ability to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment Additional Criteria: Available full-time Available on a long-term basis Experience within a secondary setting (all subject specialisms are a bonus) Experience managing challenging behaviour in either an SEN school or a mainstream secondary school Excellent track record in behaviour management and ability to engage pupils displaying challenging behaviour High expectations for teaching and learning Extensive experience leading classes This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment.
