The Role - Sociology Teacher
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Harrow is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sociology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. The role involves teaching Sociology at KS5, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that develop students' analytical and evaluative skills.
You will be responsible for planning high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting learners to achieve strong A-Level outcomes. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with support and professional development available.
The successful Sociology Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have strong subject knowledge. Experience teaching A-Level Sociology is desirable.
