Adult Autism Assessment Clinician (Part-Time)

About the Role CAMHS Professionals is recruiting two experienced Adult Autism Assessment Clinicians to deliver solo autism assessments across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester. This is a part-time, flexible opportunity open to Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Registered Mental Health Nurses with solid experience conducting independent adult autism assessments. This role suits confident, experienced solo practitioners who are comfortable leading assessments independently. Hours are flexible and the role can sit comfortably alongside an existing NHS position. What You'll Be Doing * Conducting comprehensive solo adult autism assessments * Producing clear, evidence-based diagnostic reports * Working flexibly across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester * Contributing to a 7-day, 8am–8pm service with hours agreed to suit you Requirements * ✅ Qualified Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Mental Health Nurse — essential * ✅ HCPC / NMC registered — essential * ✅ Proven experience conducting adult autism assessments as a solo practitioner — essential (full assessment qualification not required — experience is key) * Confident working independently with minimal supervision * Strong report-writing skills * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Remuneration Competitive hourly rates — details provided on application.
