Machine Operator (Nights) Location: Rochester Pay: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm to 6:00am (compressed 4-day week) Monday to Friday, 8:00pm to 5:30am (structured, consistent routine) Not just another night shift stuck on a production line. You’ll get a proper feel for the environment, the pace and where you’ll fit best. Not just a job spec, you’ll see exactly what you’re walking into. The Role: This is a proper operator role on nights. You’re trusted to run your area, keep things moving and deal with issues as they come up. • Setting up, running and taking ownership of production machinery • Managing changeovers, adjustments and basic fault finding • Keeping the line running smoothly with minimal supervision • Completing production and quality paperwork accurately • Supporting operators on shift and helping maintain standards • Working closely with Team Leaders to hit output and quality targets The Environment: • Clean, organised manufacturing site with high standards across the board • Mix of automated and semi-automated equipment • Multiple departments on site, giving you the chance to find the area that suits you best • Strong focus on quality, process and continuous improvement What You Get: • £14.00 – £16.00 per hour depending on experience • Choice of shift pattern depending on lifestyle preference • Stable, long-term opportunity in a growing business • Clear progression into Senior Operator and Team Leader roles • Ongoing training and development on machinery and processes • A night team that’s trusted to get on with the job What They’re Looking For: • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment • Some exposure to machinery, setups or line responsibility • Someone reliable who can work independently and take ownership • Good attention to detail and ability to follow process • A team player who pulls their weight on shift The Step Up: If you’ve worked nights before, you’ll know the difference between being left alone and being trusted.
