Primary Teacher - Tower Hamlets | September 2026 Location: Tower Hamlets (near Canning Town / Poplar) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time | Permanent Salary: MPS (Inner London) Key Stage: KS1 - Year 1 The School & Opportunity A progressive and community-driven primary school in the Poplar area of Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher from September 2026. The school has undergone significant development in recent years and now offers a well-sequenced curriculum, strong behaviour systems and a clear focus on high expectations for all pupils. There is a particular strength in early reading, with a consistent phonics approach embedded across KS1. Staff are supported through centralised planning resources, coaching from senior leaders and regular opportunities to develop their practice. The Role The successful candidate will take on a Year 1 class, supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning. This role would suit a teacher who enjoys early learning and understands the importance of routine, engagement and clear instruction at this stage.
