Year 6 Teacher - Full Time (September Start) Location: Telford Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with strong potential for permanent placement) Agency: Aspire People Aspire People are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving and inclusive primary school in Telford, who are seeking a strong, confident, and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a clear pathway to a permanent role for the right candidate. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant experience, as well as experienced teachers, are encouraged to apply. The Role: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing pupils for their end of Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs) and their transition to secondary school. You will be expected to deliver engaging, structured, and challenging lessons that raise attainment while also supporting pupils' confidence and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and end-of-year assessments Use assessment data to inform teaching and accelerate progress Create a focused, positive, and well-managed classroom environment Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (placements considered for ECTs with strong KS2 exposure) Strong understanding of Year 6 expectations and SATs preparation Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills A resilient, proactive, and dedicated approach Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What Aspire People Offer: Competitive rates of pay Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement Access to CPD and professional development opportunities Opportunity to secure a permanent role The chance to work in a supportive, ambitious, and inclusive school If you are a motivated and driven Year 6 Teacher looking to make a real impact in your next role this September, we would love to hear from you.
