FABRICATOR/WELDER The role of Fabricator/Welder will be based in a friendly and busy Fabrication department and the objective of the role is to weld/fabricate a wide variety of fabrications to produce the final product. Duties will include: · Responsible for welding lift car frames and other fabrications and working to a high degree of accuracy · Follow verbal and written instruction for the management team · Extensive liaison with other departments throughout the company for the complete cycle of a lift being built · Ensure that PPE and company uniform is worn at all times, including Respiratory Protective equipment · Responsible for ensuring correct storage and identification of parts, both within works areas and associated holding areas to achieve smooth feeding of materials and workflow · Maintain a high standard for health and safety and housekeeping throughout the factory · Responsible for completing all departmental paperwork in an accurate and precise manner SKILLS: · Mechanical fitter experience · Welding experience · Ability to use electrical and manual tools · Enjoy working in a team · Excellent timekeeping and attendance record · Keen to commit long term to the role BENEFITS: · 23 days holidays + all bank holidays · Excellent company pension starting immediately · On-site parking · 2 years Death-in Service benefit from day one of employment · Access to wellbeing portal · H&S training
