Job Title: Fabric Engineer Location: Cambridge (with travel to two additional sites) Salary: Up to £36,000 + Van & Fuel Card The Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fabric Engineer to join a team supporting a pharmaceutical site in Cambridge, with occasional travel to two additional nearby locations. Working within a regulated, high-spec environment, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric and general maintenance tasks, ensuring standards of safety, compliance, and presentation are consistently met. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * General fabric maintenance including painting and decorating * Basic plumbing repairs (e.g. taps, toilets, minor leaks) * Carpentry and general building repairs * Ensure all work is completed in line with site procedures and compliance standards * Maintain accurate records of works completed * Support wider maintenance activities across multiple sites About You * Proven experience in a Fabric Engineer or similar role * Strong all-round knowledge of building maintenance and fabric works * Experience in painting & decorating, basic plumbing, and general repairs * Experience working in a regulated or high-spec environment (desirable) * Able to work independently and manage workload effectively * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Good communication and a proactive attitude Working Hours Monday to Friday, standard working hours On-Call 1 in 4 call-out rota What’s on Offer * Salary up to £36,000 * Company van & fuel card * Stable, long-term opportunity within a specialist environment * Supportive team environment
