About the role

About The Role Engineered to Protect, that’s our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world. The Electrical Inspector provides an electrical inspection function to the Production Department. Electrical Inspector will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £31k, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing  Inspection of sub-contracted PECs, harnesses, electrical cabinets and electrical sub-assemblies Inspection of internally manufactured assemblies, checking against wiring diagrams, cable schedules, drawings and parts lists Writing of defect reports, raising of SIMS documents and provide electrical inputs into FAIR reports Carry out insulation and continuity checks as required Inspection of termination, crimping and soldering To work both individually and within a team environment of multi-disciplined specialists and engineering disciplines to achieve programme results and customer deliverables in a timely and accurate mannerAbout our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.
