Electrician - Water

Electrician (Maintenance) - Water Sector Location : Kent (with travel across the South East) Rate : Up to £30 per hour Duration : 6 months + An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrician with a strong maintenance background to support ongoing works within the water and utilities sector. The Role You'll be responsible for carrying out electrical remedial and maintenance works following inspection reports, as well as handling reactive maintenance and breakdown tasks across operational sites. The role involves working independently in the field, diagnosing faults, and ensuring systems are returned to safe and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities ·Electrical remedial works based on condition reports ·Reactive maintenance and breakdown response ·Fault finding on electrical systems, including control panels and level control equipment ·Working across multiple sites, requiring flexibility and travel Requirements ·City & Guilds Level 3 (2330 or equivalent) ·Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or 2394/2395) ·18th Edition Wiring Regulations ·JIB Gold Card ·Proven experience in maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown work Experience ·Background in the water industry is essential ·Alternatively, experience within heavy industrial environments (e.g. aggregates, quarries) will be considered About You ·Self-motivated and proactive ·Confident working independently ·Able to assess situations on-site and make informed decisions   If you're a skilled electrician looking for consistent work within a specialist sector, this role offers competitive rates and varied site experience across Kent and the surrounding region
