Mortgage & Protection Advisor

The Role This is a client-first advisory role in a business built on reputation, referrals, and long-term relationships — not quick wins or high-pressure sales. You’ll advise across residential and buy-to-let mortgages, with a strong expectation around protection. The focus is simple: give clear, honest advice, convert properly, and retain clients for the long term. This isn’t a volume sweatshop. It’s a quality-led environment where the expectation is that you do things properly. What You’ll Be Doing * Advising on mortgages across the whole market (100+ lenders) * Writing protection business alongside every mortgage case * Managing clients from initial enquiry through to completion and beyond * Building referral relationships and repeat business * Using tech-enabled tools to retain and re-engage clients over time What Matters * CeMAP (or equivalent) * Proven ability to convert — not just talk * Strong protection mindset (non-negotiable) * Professional, relationship-led approach * Comfortable working without micromanagement What You Get * High-quality, referral-driven leads (not recycled or cold-heavy) * No-fee proposition → easier conversations, higher trust * Full admin and case support * Flexibility — including out-of-hours client work when it suits * A business that values retention, not just new deals * Long-term earning potential built on repeat clients, not constant chasing Why This Role If you’re stuck in a fee-heavy, transactional environment or forced to chase volume at the expense of quality, this is the opposite.
