FLT Driver Rotating Shifts

Role: FLT Counterbalance Driver (Rotating Shifts) Location: Dudley Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 05.40am to 1.50pm and Friday: 5.40am to 11.30am/ Monday to Thursday: 1.40pm to 9.50pm and Friday: 11.20am to 5.10pm. Pay Rate: £12.71ph (First 12 weeks) increasing to £14.24ph  Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Dudley, an leading manufacturer within the plastics industry. This is a fast-paced role to help support within the warehouse and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, ongoing work within a supportive and friendly environment.  Key Responsibilities: Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures. Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished plastic components. Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines. Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime. Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems. Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects. Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork. Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (if applicable). Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Key Requirements: Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential). Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Good understanding of health & safety practices. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
