Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Cafcass to recruit 3 Agency Family Court Advisers (FCA) on a temporary basis to support a defined task/project. These roles will be based from Bournemouth or Portsmouth offices, covering Hampshire & Dorset, with hybrid working arrangements. Key Details Role: Agency Family Court Adviser (FCA) Client: Cafcass Location: Bournemouth or Portsmouth (covering Hampshire & Dorset) Pay Rate: £40 per hour Contract: Temporary (Task/Project) Hours: 37 hours per week The Role As an Agency FCA, you will: Provide high-quality case analysis through Court reports, making clear and robust recommendations to the Court in private law proceedings Engage directly with children and families, ensuring the child's needs, wishes and feelings are central to all work Demonstrate expertise in safeguarding, child engagement, inter-agency working, case planning, and accurate recording Work confidently with parents, relatives, local authorities, and the Courts Prepare and present oral evidence in Court when requiredThis is a demanding role and requires a professional who is resilient, well organised, able to work proportionately, and confident using IT systems, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
