About the role

SEND Teacher – Enhanced Learning Provision  A rewarding opportunity is becoming available from the end of June for an experienced and qualified SEND Teacher to lead provision within a specialist Enhanced Learning Provision within a mainstream primary school. This role will initially be offered through with strong potential for a longer-term or permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role The Enhanced Learning Provision currently supports 5 high-needs pupils and is staffed by 2 additional support adults. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEND professional who can lead and develop high-quality provision tailored to pupils with complex needs. The successful candidate will: Lead teaching and learning within the provision Deliver personalised and engaging SEND provision Work collaboratively with support staff and wider school teams Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment Support pupils with communication, interaction, and sensory needs Essential Experience & Training We are looking for candidates who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have significant experience working within SEND settings Have knowledge and training in approaches such as: Intensive Interaction Bucket Time Communication and interaction strategies Are confident supporting pupils with high and complex needs Demonstrate excellent behaviour regulation and relationship-building skills Opportunity There is strong potential for this position to become permanent, particularly as the school is currently progressing an application with the Local Authority to establish a specialist resource base. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing specialist provision. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
