Smart Education is recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in Birmingham, supporting pupils aged 2–11 years with a wide range of additional and complex needs. The school supports children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Physical Disabilities (PD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and associated communication needs.
The school provides a nurturing, structured and inclusive environment where pupils are supported to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, working closely with families and professionals to meet individual needs.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs in a school environment
• Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, PD, PMLD and SLD
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom, small-group and 1:1 support
• Assist with implementing individual learning and support plans
• Encourage communication, independence and engagement
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
• Work closely with teachers and specialist staff
• Maintain a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
