HGV Technician

Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Greenford Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm Salary: Up to £21.56 per hour My client is looking for a well-rounded and experienced HGV Technician to join their growing team in Greenford. As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic you will be required to: Undertake all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles Diagnose and resolve technical issues with vehicles, plant, and machinery Carry out repairs ranging from correction of running defects through to full vehicle overhauls Prepare a range of vehicles to MOT standard, from 3.5t to 26t HGV/RCV, including completing all necessary repairs and maintenance   Maintain accurate records of servicing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance carried out Ensure the workshop is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, organisation, and safetyWhat the successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic will need: In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers Previous experience working in a workshop environment as an HGV Technician Fully skilled with industry-recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service, Maintenance and Repair HGV Class 1 licence desirable, but not essential Current full UK Driving Licence or equivalent Strong understanding of vehicle system diagrams Good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits: Company pension 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Employee benefits package Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Supportive team environmentHow to Apply: Interested?
