Key Responsibilities * Export Operations: Coordinate the full sea export process, from receiving bookings to ensuring cargo reaches its global destination. * Carrier Management: Negotiate with shipping lines and schedule haulage to ensure seamless flow from the warehouse to the port. * Documentation: Create and manage essential export paperwork, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs entries. * Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular milestones and solving logistics hitches before they occur. * Commercial Accuracy: Manage job files, including costing and invoicing, to ensure every shipment is commercially successful. Requirements * Experience: 2+ years working within a UK-based sea export forwarding environment. * Technical Skills: Experience using industry software like CargoWise or MultiFreight is highly valued. * The Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat.
