Grwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 21,000 students, including over 1,500 higher education students, across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd.

Job Purpose
To provide high quality teaching, to create effective learning opportunities and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
As an Engineering lecturer your primary purpose will be to educate and inspire the next generation of engineers through high-quality teaching, instruction, curriculum development and student mentorship.You will be responsible for delivering inspiring and engaging lessons, assessing student progress and fostering knowledge, practical skills and innovation.Your role will extend beyond the classroom, involving CPD to stay current in your field, collaboration with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and contribution to departmental initiatives.By balancing theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience and maintaining a safe learning environment, your aim will be to equip students with the skills, knowledge and problem-solving abilities needed for a successful career in engineering.

Annual Leave -

? All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.
? Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
Working Hours -
37 hours per week.
