KS1 Teaching Assistant – Scunthorpe

Location: Scunthorpe

Start Date: After Easter 2026

Contract: Full-time, until Summer

Pay: £95 per day

Reed Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe that is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils from after the Easter break through to the end of the academic year.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering or supporting RWI (Read Write Inc.) phonics
• Strong knowledge and confidence supporting pupils with SEN needs
• Level 2 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Someone positive, reliable, and passionate about helping young learners thrive

Your Role

• Provide targeted phonics and literacy support
• Assist the class teacher with daily learning activities
• Deliver small-group or 1:1 intervention
• Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusion and progress
• Help maintain a calm, nurturing KS1 learning environment
