Maintenance Supervisor

M&E Lead Engineer / Supervisor – Holborn, London - FM Service Provider – Up to £53,000 per annum CBW are currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer / Supervisor to work in a corporate building based in Holborn, London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious, high-specification corporate environment in the heart of London, supporting a well-established on-site facilities team. The building offers a modern, technically advanced workspace and a professional setting with a strong focus on quality and service delivery. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day maintenance operations while supporting the delivery of a comprehensive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. Working closely with a dedicated on-site engineer, you will coordinate and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) services across the building, ensuring systems operate efficiently and to the highest standards. With significant overtime available and a 1-in-2 call-out rota, this position provides strong earning potential within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.   Key Duties & Responsibilities Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs alongside the Supervisor Arrange and oversee specialist subcontractors Manage reports and site logbooks in partnership with the Contract Manager and Supervisor Ensure all documentation is current and audit-ready Attend client meetings as required Lighting: small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements, etc. Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing Air conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks) Monitor and adjust BMS as required (e.g., hot/cold calls) Maintain all statutory compliance requirementsHours of work Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm Overtime available Requirements Electrical or Mechanical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent) Multi-skilled with a strong commercial building maintenance background Client-facing, professional and presentable Hard-working, honest and reliable Happy to manage your time between supervising and being on the tools
