Mechanical Fitter Preston £30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Pension + Holiday Excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking for training, development and progress within a manufacturing company. On offer is an exciting, technically challenging position where you will work alongside a senior engineer and eventually take full charge of the maintenance department. This well-established company specialise in producing bespoke products into industries ranging from aerospace, oil and gas, food and chemical. In this role you will shadow the current engineer who is coming up to retirement. You will learn how to perform breakdown and planned maintenance to a range of electro-mechanical equipment. This is a day-based shift, Monday to Friday with overtime paid at time and a half.
