Sports Coach

About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wirral. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality sports sessions and assist in the development of children’s physical, social, and emotional skills. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports, education, and inspiring young people. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, deliver, and lead engaging sports activities and coaching sessions. * Support pupils during PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs. * Assist teaching staff with classroom management and learning activities when required. * Encourage positive behaviour and teamwork among students. * Help set up and maintain sports equipment and facilities. * Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment. * Record attendance and monitor pupil progress in sports and related activities. Skills & Experience: * Experience coaching sports or working with children in a school or community setting. * Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. * Ability to motivate and inspire children of different ages and abilities. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Relevant sports coaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
