SEN Support Assistant

We are currently looking for several Full Time Teaching Assistants to work with some of our fantastic schools based in South Liverpool. Long Term and Short Term roles for October are both available.

To be successful you will need past experience working with SEND children, particularly Autism and ADHD and be able to manage challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted behaviour and learning support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.

• Implement, review and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a consistent and effective approach for each child.

• Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels safe and supported.

• Use de-escalation and positive behaviour management techniques to help pupils regulate and engage.
