Tools Category Manager - Trade Merchant / B2B
Location: Midlands (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £60,000
We're working with a growing B2B/industrial business looking to hire a Category Manager to take full ownership of a product portfolio and drive commercial performance.
This is a true "mini business owner" role - owning category strategy, supplier relationships, range development and margin delivery across a global supply base.
What you'll be doing:
Define and execute category strategy to drive sales and margin
Build and optimise product ranges and supplier base
Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, pricing and supply chain
Use data and market insight to identify growth opportunities
Lead supplier negotiations and commercial performanceWhat we're looking for:
Experience in Category Management, Buying or Product roles
Background in B2B, Trade Merchant OR Retail products
Strong commercial mindset with ability to turn data into action
Confident working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholdersWhy this role?
